Corporate High-end Medical Insurance is employer-sponsored health insurance usually for management level staff and expatriates. It covers incurred eligible medical expenses and normally has rich benefits with very limited restrictions on hospitals, medication and countries.
Comparing with common health insurance in the market, the High-end Medical Insurance has broader coverage on VIP treatment, private hospitals, and at his own expense medicines. The benefit will not be subject to the limit of social insurance.
Comprehensive and rich benefits - High-end Medical Insurance has comprehensive coverage including outpatient, inpatient, health screening, dental, and maternity with very rich benefits.
The maximum benefit is from RMB 1 million to 20 million per insurance period per insured employee/dependant. The benefits go beyond the limitations of Social Medical Insurance. Insured employee/dependant can go to any provider for consultation and medical treatment.
If the insured employee/dependant goes to a doctor or hospital for consultation or treatment that has a direct billing arrangement with us, the employee simply needs to present their Cigna & CMB ID card before the treatment and complete the corresponding paperwork from the doctor. Cigna & CMB will settle the payment with the doctor or hospital directly.
Apart from comprehensive coverage for medical treatment, the high-end Medical Insurance also covers a certain level of wellness programs provided by service vendors of Cigna & CMB, including health and well-being assessment, health information and an education toolkit (e.g., newsletter, brochure, seminar) to improve the well-being of the insured employee/dependant.

Any person working for a legal person organization registered in People’s Republic of China with ages between 16 and 80 and a member of staff nominated and sponsored by the employer working the minimum of 30 hours per week can be qualified as an insured person.
The number of the insured persons should take more than 75% (including 75%) of the policyholder’s total qualified members and cannot be less than 5 lives.
An insured person’s dependant who are in good health, including his or her spouse (of age of less than 80) and children (the insured person’s unmarried children, whose names have been provided to the company prior to the commencement of any treatment, but only if those persons are under age 25, either in full-time education or residing at the same residence as the insured person at the commencement of any treatment. ) can be qualified as the insured person’s dependant subject to the agreement of the company. The policyholder shall apply for coverage for all of them to the company.
