  Thank you for your long-term support and trust in Cigna&CMB. I, on behalf of the over 6000 staff from Cigna&CMB, wish you a happy new year!
  In 2016, our business scale was extended to 15 provinces and cities across China. Our insurance premium income broke through RMB 10 billion for the first time; our solvency reached up to 262% and we have won the honor of “Excellent Joint-venture Life Insurance Company of the Year” for three consecutive years.
  In 2016, we still put our customers and clients at the center of all that we do., Based on this, we kept improving personality of products and health management services, by providing life, dread diseases , group health & medical insurance, accident, annuity, investment-linked insurance to individuals and families. In this year, we launched some super star products: Enjoy Health C Dread Disease Plan, and Chuanjiadianfan life plan and gained wide attention on the market and  great popularity among our customers, and our sales increased by 300% compared to that over the same period.
  In 2016, we actively undertook social responsibilities and devoted ourselves to becoming an excellent enterprise citizen. In that year, we vigorously participated in Dongguan International Marathon, McDonald’s Charity Run, Shanghai Terry Fox Run and so on and interpreted the meaning of health by our practical actions. We have also donated in the construction of 10 libraries and 4 safety experience classrooms at poverty-stricken areas in Hubei, Chongqing, Jiangxi and other places for 3 consecutive years. We have donated 350,000 books in total, and benefited over 30,000 students, making efforts to make the world become better.
  Insurance is a career that advocates “all for one and one for all”, and insurance is also a responsibility to our family. Every customer is a contributor to insurance and a beneficiary of insurance. In order to provide a convenient and efficient experience in the settlement of claims, we have simplified procedures for claims and launched “WeChat Claims”, “Green Channel” and other services. In 2016, over 2.5 million person times of customers experienced these services; we settled the claims for 195,000 person times of customers in total, and the total amount exceeded RMB 555 million. Among them, there was the biggest case of claims of Cigna&CMB in history, involving an amount of RMB 4.2 million.
  As a joint-venture insurance company, we achieved such extraordinary achievements in the past year not by accident. They are the products produced by Cigna & CMB through the efforts of all our staff. Please allow me here to express my thanks to all our staff! We achieved these achievements because of their hard work and tenacious spirit.
  In 2017, customer demand will still be our most important concern. Your attention and demand is the direction of our action. It is our unswerving responsibility to care about your and your family’s health, safeguard your fortune, provide you with a beautiful life and tailor a “Happy Life Insurance Safety Net” for you. In the new year, we will provide more innovative products and services. For instance, we will upgrade serious disease products, expand coverage scope, and provide serious disease housekeeper, nurse hotline, overseas physical examination, medical treatment in America and other health & medical services. We believe that all these will bring sufficient security and happiness to each family.
